Radka Rubilina, Dr.phil.
I have occupied myself with RUSSIAN LITERATURE and societies in CIS countries since 1997. I translate Russian belles-lettres, memoires and poetry, I have published an anthology about GULAG (i.e. forced labor camps during the Stalin time) and also contributed to Czech newspapers Hospodářské noviny, Respekt, Lidové noviny, Souvislosti about the CIS societies and cultures. My poetry book about Russia and me called "Cheap Romance" was published in 2017.
My interests in the phenomenon of labor camps have brought me to the problem of HUMAN RIGHTS in the world in general. I have worked as a Head of Eastern European and Russian Department for Human Rights and Democracy at the Czech humanitarian organization People in Need.
I served as a Human Rights Officer for OSCE in Armenia 2013 - 2017. Currently, I work as an EVALUATOR of educational, social, human rights and development projects around the world, though mostly in CIS countries. I am a member of the Czech Evaluation Society and a platform Better Evaluation.
